Today I went to the village to look for a new pair of glasses. I currently have annoying glasses, due to several reasons; my eyes are worse now than 2 years ago, the frame is not exactly strong (so things tend to get loose real easy, or things start to break) and I have to clean this one at least 5 times a day, but usually a lot more. And another important reason. I’ve had these for 2 years now. When I got these, I had to get used to glasses. I’m used to em now. So now I just want a pair that I really love! I had my eyes checked today. The bad news is that they’re twice as bad as they used to be. The good news is that I can see everything I need to see with new glasses.
I don’t have it yet. I’ll be able to pick it up within a week or two. I tried to search the web for my new pair of glasses. The brand is “Be Bright” and apparently it’s only sold by Pearle. Maybe it’s an older model. Anyway I couldn’t find it online. So you’ll have to be patient and wait until I can pick it up at the optician!
I’m so excited! At the end of March we’ll have some extra money, giving me the opportunity to buy some supplies again. I bought Bruynzeel Sakura Graphite pencils in 2008 and they’re so nice to work with. I need a lot of supplies, but I’m mainly looking forward to two new cassettes of pencils:
Bruynzeel Sakura Graphite (12 pencils)
This is a set I already have, and love.
Bruynzeel Sakura Colour (48 pencils)
This is a set I’ve wanted for years, and will finally get in March/April. Decent colour pencils for my drawings.
Bruynzeel Sakura Pastel (48 pencils)
This is also a set I’ve wanted for years, and will also finally get this one in March/April. Very nice/soft pastel pencils for my drawings.
All of the above sets are pretty expensive. Well they are worth the money, but it’s a lot of money for someone like me. I still need em though. I want to work on my drawing skills and I need decent pencils to do that.
Bruynzeel Sakura Aquarel (48 pencils)
Something else I want to buy in a year or so. No rush, but still nice to have.
