What to do?

I've been working the entire week, usually from early in the morning till somewhere at night. That's okay. I have fun working. It can be exhausting, combining it with a toddler at home. But I can still handle it. This week seemed to be a better week. I've been to my GP a couple of times. I can now arrange some things, new appointments with a therapist for my legs, professional help for my disease and weight issues, I got my new glasses, I got new ointments for my body.

Everything seems to be going well. Except for a few other things.

I still have these terrible headaches. And those won't go away no matter what I try. So today I decided I would play some games, rather than work all day. It's my weekend. I should enjoy the weekend sometimes. I haven't played a game on my PC since I believe November. Creating Christmas stuff for Sims 3 doesn't count. I've been in my Sims 3 game but I only took snapshots and then exited again. So my plan was to install all my favorite games again and play a few of them today. But no way that's going to happen. I tried opening my DVD drive. No such luck. It wouldn't open. I grabbed a paperclip to open it and it worked. But it wouldn't work on its own. So I can't load any CDs or DVDs at the moment. Now a new DVD drive isn't too expensive. I just didn't expect this and I don't like it too much. We were trying save some money because we have a bunch of very high bills this month. My new glasses, new swim wear, new server and a bunch of regular bills.

The server has been having problems lately. I haven't noticed them myself really. Usually when I go to any of the hosted websites, they're just online without any problems. I'm not saying there aren't any problems. I just haven't seen any of them myself yet. However we don't want the server to be problematic. But changing servers cost a lot of money. We finally ordered a new server today. It's a much faster one. So we'll be problem free for a looooong time. But the setup costs are high. So we have asked the clients to chip in a little. We cannot afford to pay for the setup costs all by ourselves. And it's a good thing for everyone using the server.

I also discovered I'm out of allergy meds. I didn't know I didn't have any left until I looked in my meds drawers. So I bought em in the drug store instead. Usually they get paid for by the health care provider, which is only fair, I pay enough every month for my health care plan. It wasn't too expensive but still something I would have liked to save.

The unforeseen costs do mean I can't buy my pencils for a while. I don't like this one bit. I need them for my drawings. I certainly need to practice drawing if I want to stand a chance of getting accepted into one of the courses at HKU.

ChEeTaH went out to get new DVD drives. After that I will continue my plan to install all my games again. I may share some pics later.
