My name is Rosana Kooymans. My nicknames are Rosie, Rosiewosie, SNW or a combination of those. I use the nickname Rosiewosie on many social networking/web 2.0 websites. On my own websites I just use the name Rosana or Rosie.

I’m 25 years old. I currently reside in The Netherlands. I live with my family in a nice apartment in Southern Netherlands. My love ChEeTaH and I fell in love in 2006, after attending E3 in Los Angeles, California. I visited many expos and events in 2006, you can view them on my Events page.

I quit my studies ‘Communication & Multimedia Design’ in 2007 due to administrative errors and health issues. I was also supposed to get surgery in April 2007, but we found out I was pregnant in February 2007. And I had been pregnant for a while when we found out. I gave birth on October 23rd. Even though we’re very happy with out little baby boy, it wasn’t planned and we had to struggle a little to even find proper housing. Just a month before my due date we moved into our new apartment.

Ever since Seth was born, I have been mainly busy with him. I don’t mind, but a baby really is time consuming. That means I have less time for other activities. Since January 2008 I have been slowly getting back to work on all the websites I run. My planning is to renew all the websites I already had. But I’m also working on a ton of other new projects. You will be able to read all about these new projects on my blog (on the front page). Since the beginning of 2009 I started taking new projects from clients again. Besides creating and maintaining websites, I also run a few websites, just for the fun of it. I have 3 gaming sites at the moment; SimsNetwork, MySimsNetwork and SporeNetwork. However all of these sites are bilingual, which means I have to update 6 websites. They all started out as separate websites. I love my websites, besides my family this is definitely what I live for, to make the web a nicer place.
A few of my other sites are MacDesperate and Retro Hugs. MacDesperate is a website about Apple products. This website is not just mine. I share the website with a few friends! Retro Hugs is a new project, coming soon in 2010.

I usually spend my days at my computer, mostly working. But I do have some other hobbies! I love photography, painting and drawing. I have uploaded some of my work here on this blog. Just explore my blog when you have the time!

In the future, my family and I will move to California, preferably the Bay Area. We want to work and live there. It’s been our dream for a very long time. We also know it won’t be easy. It will take a lot of effort and time. But it will be well worth it. The reason we’re not preparing ourselves just yet is because ChEeTaH is still busy with his study at Eindhoven University of Technology. It will take a few more years for him to get his Masters Degree there. After that, we’ll have to save some money for the big move. But remember my words, we will move to California.
