I love blogging. I don't know why exactly. Maybe it is because I am a busy body and sometimes I can't find time to chat with my friends. It's so much easier to just blog everything that happens in my life, because all my friends can read that just at once. People can reply on my blog posts. This often results in some kind of online conversation between friends. The fun part about that is, that these 'logs' won't get lost.

Although...

I've been a blogger ever since I've been making websites. And I've been making websites since 2001. Well I have made some websites before 2001, but I do not feel the desire to share these with any of you They're also gone. The problem with me is that I have too many websites. Some of these have grown too big and therefore I had to get my own server in 2003. I shared this server with someone else. And this sometimes caused problems, like crackers (people who call themselves hackers but are not worth it). And crackers just love to destroy websites from amateurs like myself back on those days. It's because of these crackers that I've lost so many blog posts in the past. Which is a shame really, because looking back, I do miss certain parts of my 'blogging life'. And I can't retrieve them. At least not all of them.

I found a few blog posts back today. I honestly doubt I will ever find any other old blog posts back. But never say never, right? The blog posts that I could retrieve, are from June, July and August 2005.

Right now, archives won't show up. I can't figure out why. I have a test blog on my pc where I run the same theme, and that one does show archives. Maybe it has something to do with the new Wordpress? I don't know. But it's quite frustrating.

Yes, I've joined Twitter. Don't ask me why. I'm busy enough already. But Alex asked me whether I had a Twitter account a while ago. And if I find something appealing enough, I tend to join anyway, even if it is just to try it out. So now I did. Have a Twitter? Usually I don't rant too much about IE, but I've had it!! There really isn't anything good about it, at all!! All you idiots still using IE (which means INTERNET EXPLORER btw):

I decided to start blogging in English too, since some of my foreign friends don't understand Dutch (I can't blame them lol). Well anyway, I will post some stuff here every now and then. So check my blog frequently. I might write something useful

Some people are just plain sick and pathetic. Earlier today I received a text message from Marino, saying that Simsnetwork was down. Some people just don't have a life, or do they? Someone had changed the index. It was my own fault. The index had full permissions so everyone could change the file. But even then, you just don't have the right to do so! I'm almost done checking and changing all the files and folders, to see whether they have the right permissions. Anyway, Simsnetwork is back up again.

The day before yesterday I experienced some technical problems with the server. Everything is back to normal again. Now I only have to (try to) recover some of my databases. All weblog items posted until this date, will be gone forever unless I can retrieve some of the databases.

It took me two days but now the site is almost done. I spent a lot of time registering at fan listings. It turned out to be quite many. All links are working, I just have to fix a thing in the mail form. And you won't find anything under Gallery yet. Furthermore you'll find something everywhere. The site will also get multiple layouts from which you can choose soon. They are small and simple, cost me little time and the site will improve because of it.

I'm still in doubt about whether I should move my artwork (pixel art and vector art) to this website. I mean, I have made a completely separate layout for it and I am still attached to it. My fonts will appear on this site though. The cats will keep their own site, I can put up pictures here but I have made them a site for a reason. Besides my mother's cats are also on that site. And it would be a little weird if I put her cats on this site.. Well, I'm just difficult.

It took a while, but my site, including extended blog is now back online. But it's not quite finished yet (as usual). All the links do work though
