Portfolio 2005

Here’s a summary of web design and web development projects I have done in 2005:

SimsNetwerk/SimsNetwork

SNW (abbreviation for SimsNetwork and SimsNetwerk) is a huge project I have since early 2004. I often changed the looks of this website, here are five different layouts I made for SNW in 2005:

SporeNetwerk/SporeNetwork

I founded SporeNetwork and SporeNetwerk in 2005. I had just heard about the upcoming game Spore and was one of the first to launch an all round website for Spore.

SNW Magazine

Although we only did one issue, it was fun to make. None of our team members were able to do another issue, because everyone was always so busy and then we would not get to finish it. So eventually we decided to quit the magazine.

Simsplace

Simsplace was originally not my website. But I took it over because the founder had lost interest and no longer wished to take care of it. I took over technical taks, keeping the software up to date, making sure the bills got paid etc. I did a complete new design for them when I took the site over. The team was enthusiast about my work. A shame the regular members could not appreciate it.

Fast Finger

Fast Finger is a cover band from The Netherlands. I have been designing and maintaining their website since 2003.

Flow Jo

Flow Jo is a rapper from The Netherlands. I designed his website from 2003-2005.

Brugel & Jongeneelen

This was a website for two deejays who were releasing a single in The Netherlands and Belgium.

In the early years, Webcenternet was my portfolio. Later it changed to Miss Design.

Mawicore

Mawicore is a computer repair business.

Kun Tao Hokkian Siauw Lim

This is a (pencak silat) martial arts school from The Netherlands.

Rosana Kooymans

I’ve had a personal website ever since I got Internet. I don’t have all of the websites anymore, but I could track down most of the old layouts I kept.

Glossy Pixel

Glossy Pixel was my pixel (and vector) art website.

SNW Buurt #2

On my own SNW websites, people were very active with their Sims games and someone (Rakki) started a neighborhood in which people could participate. Later on, I decided to do the same, since it was such a hit and the old neighborhood was full. It became even more fun for our visitors since they could see me play the whole game live, for a whole hour, on Saturdays.

SNW Crew Pages

To let out SNW members get to know us (the team) a little, I created Crew Pages. This was later removed, since we started blogging and the team members could tell a bit about themselves on their blogs.
