Portfolio 2008

Here’s a summary of web design and web development projects I have done in 2008:

Laura & Moniek – Niet schaatsen in Zuid-Amerika

A travel blog for two girls who will be staying three months in Latin-America.

SNWeblogs 2008

I host the SNWeblogs for the SNW team members. However I didn’t have a decent SNW Wordpress theme yet for the blogs. It’s widget friendly.
You can view this theme live on some of our team members’s blogs, one of them being Paul (his blog is a good example because he uses many of the widgets, whereas some others don’t really use the blog at all.

Rosana Kooymans Gallery

I mentioned it a few times before, but I pretty much had it with the available (free) online photo services. I went through the pros and cons of the online services and a self-hosted gallery. Pretty soon it was clear I would be better off using my own gallery. So I decided to start using Gallery2 (again). However, with all do respect, the existing themes weren’t exactly themes I’d use myself. So I made a new one, for personal use only.

Alex’s SNWeblog

Alex is one of the team members on SNW who uses his blog often. It’s not at all about Sims (or games in general), at least not right now. But it has some quality posts (and good photography as well). I figured he deserved to be the first to get his own fancy blog. It’s simple and clean. Oh and it has widgets!

Miss Design/Rosana Kooymans

Yes, I’m talking about the website you are looking at right now. I figured I had spent so much time and put so much love into this website, it at least deserved a spot on the portfolio. It pretty much has everything. I have been using the color scheme for a few years now, the styles also. But it has changed in many ways (and for the better). It’s now it a good mix of my personal blog and my professional portfolio.

ChEeTaH’s/Simply-Life

This is the blog and website of ChEeTaH. It runs on Drupal. He will be using this primarily to post his blurbs about random stuff that happens in life, and some projects as well, like KidDraw for KDE.
