compression pants

I'm still working on the new website. Most of the posts (including artworks, blog posts and 365 posts from 2009, 2010 and 2011) are missing. These posts will return eventually. Thanks for your patience! :)

Pain

I wear compression stockings for my legs. Every single day. And I usually also wear my compression sleeves (for the arms). But today I decided to start wearing the compression pants/bermuda again. I wonder how long it'll last. I am in a lot of pain because of it and I can't move properly. Can't walk with this thing, can't sit with it either. Also makes toilet visits unbearable. I just don't know what to do about this. I have to wear it for my upper legs. In the pic is my hand/arm with compression sleeves.

Healthy update!

Last night we found out we had to visit the dentist today. Oops! Luckily ChEeTaH reminded me. I didn't look into my planner this week. Didn't feel like it. And I almost forgot an important appointment because of it. But I went. My teeth are all nice and clean again. Seth got his teeth checked, or rather counted lol. Big drama there. My lovely little toddler didn't feel like opening his mouth. And when he got a small present he didn't even like it!

Today I visited the hospital again, to return my compression bermuda pants. I love the idea of the pants, but it's too short. It has been returned once before, when I had to try the pants on. It was about 20cm too short. Last time I visited it still seemed too short, but it was a lot better. I tried the compression pants for a few weeks but it's still just a bit too short. So it's gone back to the manufacturer again. And they're going to make it slightly longer, about 5cm. This should help a lot. I can't wait to get them back. When I'm not wearing the compression garments, my legs really hurt more.

After the visit to the hospital, we all walked to the center of our little town. We went to get a form at the Day Care center. It seemed closed. When we walked by we noticed the children playing at the playground, so that explained why no one answered the door.

We visited the Kruidvat first to get some needed items, and some items I just really wanted to have. Then we returned to the Day Care center. Seth was really nervous at first, but we went to take a look inside the building and after a couple of minutes he was playing (all the other children had gone home). And my stubborn son didn't want to leave anymore. If all does as planned, he should be able to go there in the beginning of 2011. Fingers crossed!

Productive day, don't you think?
