Really pushed myself hard this morning. Oh and ignore the 9km/h on the display. That's cause I took the pic when I stepped off the hometrainer.

Stats:
Duration 63:54
Average speed 25km/h
701 kcal
Distance 26.6km

So much pain right now :(

Guess what I'm going to do? Let's see how long I'll be able to keep it up today.

Have to start again for the sake of my legs. Really painful. I think only lipedema patients understand this kind of pain. Endurance is not the issue. But pain is. :( stupid lipedema.

Hometrainer report March 1st

It seemed like a good idea to me to try and use the hometrainer again. Having a little break now, if I don't have a break I can't keep it up.

20:08 minutes biked
18 km/h average
156 calories
5.9 km distance
100-120 pulse

Just 5 minutes...

Submitted by Rosana on Mon, 2010-02-22 20:56

After a long time I am back on the hometrainer. Very painful. So that's why I only did 5 minutes. Precise stats:

5:09 minutes biked
18 km/h average
42 calories
1.6 km distance
130-150 pulse

25 Minutes!

Submitted by Rosana on Thu, 2009-09-03 11:05

Yaaay, 25 minutes biked this morning. It seems I sweat more every time, but I assume this is a good thing. Another shower needed in a bit. And tomorrow I'll try for 30 minutes. Yesterday was my day "off". In the morning Seth was picked up by his grandpa and Lisanne came along. She would stay and we would go to the city to buy wellness products. We started out in the village and basically after 3 hours of shopping we decided to skip going to the city, otherwise we wouldn't have time left to have a girly day. We bought a lot of candy and snacks so I'm going to have to try hard the next few weeks to lose all those extra pounds. Oh and we also had Bon Bon Bloc. This was a really long time ago for me. No idea when I had my last Bon Bon Bloc but I kind of needed it. I also made some strawberry/kiwi smoothies. I loved these, definitely a keeper. We bought two foot baths! They were only €15. That's what I call a bargain! So during the movies and eating candy we were able to relax our legs at the same time. But enough talk about relaxing. Here are the statistics for today:

25:05 minutes biked
18 km/h average
210 calories burnt
8 km distance
110-150 pulse

20 Minutes

Pfffrt I'm so happy it's a normal temperature today! I just spent some time on the hometrainer and boy am I sweaty. I'm gonna need a nice shower to relax and freshen up in a bit. Anyway, here are the statistics!

20:10 minutes
19-22 km/h average
182 calories
6.9 km distance
100-150 pulse

15 Minutes

Submitted by Rosana on Mon, 2009-08-31 13:22

This is the first time in a long time that I used the hometrainer longer than 10 minutes. I am sweating like crazy now and taking a shower in a bit is well needed. Despite the heat today my pulse wasn't that bad! So that's all good news. Here are the exact statistics of today.

15:08 minutes
18-21 km/h average
134 calories burnt
5 km distance
100-140 pulse

Between 6 and 7 in the morning...

Submitted by Rosana on Thu, 2009-08-27 19:19

I used the hometrainer again yesterday, actually right away when I came out of bed, because that's when it's nice and cool. When it's too hot I can't keep it up as much. It still is a burden for me, but it's easier when it's not so hot.

10:11 minutes
20 km/h average
90 calories
3.4 km distance
144 average pulse

Today I did not work out on the hometrainer. But I took the kiddo "shopping" in the village here. When I return after 2 hours pushing and pulling the (heavy) stroller from the city, I have burnt more calories than when I spend 10 minutes on the hometrainer.

Hometrainer report August 25th

Submitted by Rosana on Tue, 2009-08-25 10:02

I worked out again today, despite the pain and lack of interest. My heart rate was clearly lower than yesterday. And although I heard today would be a warm day, this morning it's pretty gray and nice, temperature wise anyway (chilly!)

10:05 minutes
19 km/h average
84 calories
3.2
130-140 pulse

Pfffrt hot!

Submitted by Rosana on Mon, 2009-08-24 10:35

It's already way too hot, imagine what this afternoon will be like! But anyway, I already worked out for 10 minutes just now. And just when you decide to watch tv while working out, the commercial break sets in... Ah well. Here are the statistics:

10:20 minutes
17-18 km/h
80 calories
3 km
140-150 pulse

10 Minutes!

Submitted by Rosana on Fri, 2009-08-21 22:44

As you can read in the title of this post, there is something about 10 minutes. I biked 10 minutes today, despite the temperature (and despite the fact that I didn't last longer than 3 minutes). I felt very proud when I was done. And other than that I felt kinda shaky and dizzy. I did eat, so that wasn't the reason I was dizzy.

10:07 minutes biked
18 km/h (average)
79 calories burnt
3 km biked
150-160 average pulse

Yes, the heart rate was quite high. It was around 150-160 at the end, but I started at 100.

Worked out and gained weight

Submitted by Rosana on Thu, 2009-08-20 10:52

I gained some weight again this past month (about 500 gram). So it's not that much, but I would rather lose 500 gram than gain it. Obviously. I am convinced I will lose it again. And yet it is a bummer everytime you go and weigh yourself and see you gained weight. I had this nice chart which was going down. Now it's gone up again. Ah well, I'm taking it slow at the moment. Birthdayparties and family barbecues will always stir things up a little.

I did try to workout everyday this week. But I have to be honest and admit that I can't last longer than 5 minutes each time I try. Normally I would pursue but my heart rate will go between 140 and 150 and that just frightens me. Obviously the heat doesn't help this. Normally it's much lower.

Monday I biked 2 times:
5:06 minutes, average of 17km/h, burnt 39 calories, distance was 1.4km, average pulse was 131.
5:05 minutes, average of 17km/h, burnt 39 calories, distance was 1.4km, average pulse was 140-150.

Tuesday I biked 1 time, and quite short:
3:05 minutes, average of 17km/h, burnt 24 calories, distance was 0.9km, average pulse was 140.

Also I gained 500 gram since July 29, 2009.

Painful

Submitted by Rosana on Wed, 2009-06-03 13:22

I used the hometrainer again just now, despite the pain in my right leg. It hurts to bad, that I couldn't bike any longer. Not as long as I wanted.

Today...
...I have biked 10.3 km
...the ride lasted 30 minutes
...I've done an average of 20 km/h
...I've burned 270 calories
...my average pulse was 125

Yesterday I couldn't walk anymore because of the pain. And last night I couldn't even get up anymore when I was sitting on the ground. I hope it doesn't get any worse today.

Hometrainer!

Submitted by Rosana on Tue, 2009-06-02 23:06

I recently borrowed a hometrainer from my in-laws. The hometrainer used to be collecting dust on their attic anyway, while I could really make good use of it! See, I don't have a bicycle. Well, I do have something in our basement that looks like a bike. But it's got so much damage that there is no fixing it anymore and I'd really like to bicycle sometimes. With the hometrainer I can. So yay.

Today...
...I have biked 12 km
...the ride lasted 30 minutes
...I've done an average of 26 km/h
...I've burned 300 calories
...my pulse was between 130 and 140

I'm not going to lie. My right leg really hurts like hell right now. I can feel a bump just above my knee again. My left leg was usually worse, but right now my right leg seems worse with the bump and the pain.
