Katy Perry

I'm still working on the new website. Most of the posts (including artworks, blog posts and 365 posts from 2009, 2010 and 2011) are missing. These posts will return eventually. Thanks for your patience! :)

Teenage Dream

I don't think the nails look great in this pic but they look more than fine IRL. :)

(Temporary) Vanity <3

I wasn't sure at first under which category I should list this post. Because this is in my new home, because we moved recently. But then again, it's about my vanity containing a lot of cosmetics and nail polish. Therefore, to avoid annoying the hell out of my male visitors, I decided to list this as BEAUTY rather than HOME haha.

I should mention I don't have everything on this "vanity" because I simply haven't unpacked all the beauty boxes and bags yet. And there wasn't any more room on this thing.

This thing by the way, used to be my son's changing table. But he's a big boy now and doesn't need changing anymore. ;) So I turned this changing table into a (temporary) vanity. Woot! :D

OPI & China Glaze

Submitted by Rosana on Tue, 2012-03-27 23:30

I ordered some more OPI and China Glaze nail polish not too long ago, to "complete" my Katy Perry set and to replace some old polishes. I bought:

  • China Glaze Nova
  • China Glaze Solar Flare
  • China Glaze Frostbite
  • OPI (Katy Perry) Not Like The Movies
  • OPI (Katy Perry) Black Shatter

Take a good look at the awesome pictures!

I bought the China Glaze Solar Flare and Nova to replace two old (non China Glaze) polishes that have dried out and are no longer available to buy anywhere.

The reason I bought the China Glaze Frostbite is because it looks amazing with the OPI Katy Perry Last Friday Night. I normally wouldn't buy a blue one like that. It's VERY blue haha.

I'll soon try out the combination of Frostbite and Last Friday Night, just keep watching my blog!

It's finally... Showtime!

I received these items last weekend but I was so busy packing I couldn't post it earlier. I did take all the photos on Saturday but oh well. Better late than never? I ordered my Showtime items through Amazon, as you can tell by the teaser. I have all my games in English - because I also play them in English, and certain items are not sold in my country so I just order the entire series in the UK.

I have the Katy Perry Collector's Edition. Now I don't know about the European/Dutch version, but the one I have has actual glitters and holographic elements on the cover! I didn't know this haha. I never had a pretty Sims box like this before I think. Either way besides all the amazing pics, here is a video to show you the cool holographic stuff and the glitters!

Besides the cool Collector's Edition, yes I know I'm becoming a bit of a Katy Perry fan these days... I also have the Prima Guide for Showtime, as well as the Illuminated Sims 3 mouse! I have already packed that one. Don't even know for sure I want to use it. It feels like yet another collector's item I should not be using haha.

Katy Perry OPI collection!

Submitted by Rosana on Mon, 2012-03-12 21:45

Now I have to say I "only" have 3 out of 5 from the Katy Perry OPI collection. The ones I have now are the best though. Or well. I realized I should have gotten one more at least. But the fifth is merely a black crackle/shatter top coat, which just isn't my favorite.

The collection:

  1. Teenage Dream
  2. Not Like The Movies
  3. Last Friday Night
  4. The One That Got Away
  5. Black Shatter

The strike through items are the few I don't have. But gosh I have Teenage Dream! And Last Friday Night! And The One That Got Away. OMG! They are prettier IRL than on the pictures I've seen online. Now all I need is the Not Like The Movies one, and the cobalt blue China Glaze Frostbite polish, to go under the Last Friday Night one. Enjoy the pics. I tried my best but it's hard getting decent pics in this dark apartment, without using flash. Obviously I will show these polishes at some point, while wearing them. ;)

The package came in damaged today. I am sure this is not the seller's fault. But it is disturbing. Because the polishes came rolling out of the package without me opening the package myself. So now I'm wondering. Did one of the mail carriers take a peek? Did my neighbors have a look? Either way, I'm glad the polishes made it all in one piece. :)
