I have been creating winter wallpapers like crazy lately. Well, before I got sick obviously. I already uploaded two sets of them. The first is Happy Holidays and the second is Hello, Mister Snowman! Check them out!

Some time ago, I announced on MacDesperate I would quit. I recently bought an iMac and everyone else on MacDesperate already achieved their goals some time ago, so it's time to move on. Read my closing note here!

Some of you might have noticed that MySimsNetwork is redirecting to SimsNetwork these days. This is no error. I am closing the MySimsNetwork website and merging the content with SimsNetwork. It just saves time. Also, MySimsNetwork didn't have enough visitors to keep it open as a separate website.

SporeNetwork is next. I already closed the forums. They have already been merged in August of this year with SimsNetwork, like the members. In 2012 I will also close SporeNetwork. I will merge the news and goodies with SimsNetwork. The domain will then just redirect to the Spore content on SimsNetwork.

All of these sites closing. Am I even keeping something open? Why sure. I still have this blog including my 365 project, photography gallery and my traditional work. And on Miss Design I will update on a regular basis with my digital work, projects, wallpapers, icons et cetera.

In case people are wondering about Retro Hugs: I am still working on that. I have a lot of stuff to buy before I can start. I think it will open in 2012. It's not a forgotten project for sure.

My blog might change in 2012. And SNW will see a lot of positive changes. I missed working on SNW so I'm just glad I can easily update it now and slowly I will work on completing the website. I also promised Junior to spend more time on his Juniorwood blog. So keep an eye on that one as well.

Today's SNW's 7th birthday. Yay! We're not celebrating it. I don't think anyone remembered it anyway. We will celebrate it next year, when the new website is online. It should have been online already, but due to paid projects I just haven't had a whole lot of spare time.

I recently updated many of my other websites with new wallpapers. Wallpapers for your desktop, laptop, iPad, iPhone and PSP! Here are some previews. For the actual files, go to the websites linked below!

In 2011 I will provide my visitors with even more nice wallpapers!

There are so many things I would like to do, and so many things I just have to do. Here is part 1 of my resolutions list for 2011!

1. I'm actually supposed to work on the new website for Fanfare Eendracht Baarlo in December of this year. I did go there to talk to them about the possibilities and everything, but I haven't gotten a mail yet with the instructions. I don't want to rush them. If I am not working on this in December, I'll either spend more time with my family and take some rest. Or I'll work some more on the projects below!
2. I've been working on the new SNW for ages. It's not that it's taking me forever, but I've always got a ton of other things going on, whether I want to or not... But in the beginning of 2011 it's really time! I'm finishing some things at the moment and we will go online with the all new look very soon!
3. As for MySimsNetwork, this one will also be changed, but I'm not telling what I'll be changing. Just wait and see.
4. I have to "upgrade" SporeNetwork to suit the new DarkSpore game coming up. I might be working with some other people on this. Either way, I'm going to make some changes to the current website. The Spore section will remain as it is, but the layout has to be a bit of a mix between these games.
5. I have to update MacDesperate again, with new wallpapers. And I also need to post about the new collections of bags!
6. I will probably start a lipedema website next year, in collaboration with someone currently in medical school learning to be a dermatologist. It's something I have to do for myself and my fellow lipedema patients.
7. Last in this list is RetroHugs. Depending on whether or not I'm going back to college, I will be opening my RetroHugs scrapbooking website. I will sell (and offer some free) scrapbooking sets on this website. Sets (kits) I make myself. So initially everything will be digital. But I will also open up a shop, eventually, where I'll be selling items with my own designs.

Although we're not really celebrating it with cake and pizza and a party, it's worth the mention. SNW turned 6 years old today. Now I have to mention that my time in the community started way before that. I've had several fansite before I started SNW. But none of em grew to the size and age of SNW. I've also mentioned on SNW that it's quiet right now. I have my reasons for not updating a whole lot there at the moment. One big reason is that I'm working on the new website, which should launch in 2010. Can't give an exact date yet, as I just don't know when it will be ready.

I'd like to thank all my community friends and SNW members for congratulating me with this milestone. 6 years is a milestone, whether the site is really active or not.

If it wasn't for SNW, I wouldn't have met the love of my life and I wouldn't have my son. I've met so many great people through the community. I would love to meet more people though. SNW isn't old enough yet to retire. So we might meet each other someday!

It's very late here, and I'm preparing myself to get some sleep. Tomorrow morning I'll have to get up early to bake some lovely foods for Christmas dinner and we'll be picked up around noon by my in-laws, who will drive us to their home. I don't think I'll be online much tomorrow (well today, but you know what I mean). So I thought I'd post something now.

I uploaded a Christmas Trees set including a new pattern on The Sims Zone on Wednesday. And on Thursday I uploaded Christmas Baubles sets including several new patterns on SimsNetwork. Get em now while they're fresh and Christmas is still around!

I may be a bit late, but I decided to make some Christmas things for The Sims 3. The last time I created something for The Sims 3, something completely new was... well many months ago. I promised Andy and ChEeTaH from The Sims Zone I would make something for their site. And of course I'm also creating items for SimsNetwork. Here's a preview!

I know I'm late with this. It's not that I didn't try. I tried very hard lol. The game arrived somewhat late (about 4 days late). Then later on my game wouldn't open the review neighborhood again. So I lost all progress. It's okay. I started all over again and now the review is finally live!
